The Christmas Stairway Quilt is a festive handmade lap quilt featuring a striking stair-step patchwork design filled with classic Christmas colors and seasonal fabrics. Rich reds, deep greens, cream, black, and touches of lighter holiday colors come together to create a bold geometric pattern with wonderful movement across the quilt.
The front features repeating stair-step blocks arranged in alternating directions against a crisp cream background. The stepped design creates the appearance of pathways moving throughout the quilt, giving this traditional patchwork pattern an eye-catching geometric look.
A wonderful assortment of Christmas fabrics adds personality throughout the design, including holly, snowflakes, poinsettias, candy canes, Christmas trees, plaid, buffalo check, stripes, and other festive seasonal prints. Solid and patterned greens, bright Christmas reds, black-and-white checks, and cream fabrics provide plenty of contrast while keeping the entire design beautifully coordinated.
A bright red binding frames the quilt and provides a classic Christmas finish that complements the red fabrics throughout the patchwork.
Turn the quilt over to reveal a rich red tonal backing with a subtle textured pattern. The simple red reverse provides a beautiful contrast to the detailed stair-step patchwork on the front while coordinating perfectly with the red binding.
At 62" wide × 75½" long, Christmas Stairway is a generously sized lap quilt that's perfect for cuddling on the sofa, relaxing in a favorite chair, displaying over a couch or quilt rack, adding festive color to a bedroom or living room, or giving as a special handmade Christmas gift.
Handmade with care, Christmas Stairway is a one-of-a-kind quilt, so only one is available.
